The dance styles taught at Ballrumours are social Ballroom and Latino, which range from Salsa, Jive, Cha Cha, Waltz,, Tango, Swing, Hustle, Merengue and Viennese Waltz. These are the different dance styles. With their old world charm, these dances are, at the moment, the focus of renewed interest In the world. Our aim is to help our members in getting a good aerobic workout, improving posture and enhancing social grace and thereby increasing their self-confidence. At the same time these dances provide a wonderful creative outlet and stress relief from everyday urban tensions truly, benefits for the body, mind and soul. Another purpose here at Ballrumours is to promote interest and generate awareness about the benefits of ballroom dance. We hope to make people aware of how vital and fun it is to stay in shape physically, mentally as well as spiritually.
