Short Itinerary:

Day 01: Wayanad - Thollaiyiram Kandi - Cholamala Waterfalls - Ambukuthi hills 

Day 02: Banasura dam.

Detailed Itinerary:

 Day 00:

  • Start for an overnight road trip from Bangalore at about 9 am. The distance of Bengaluru to Wayanad is about 276 km that would take about 7 to 8 hours.

Day 01:

  • Reach Wayanad early morning, Check into the resting place, freshen up, and have your breakfast.
  • Start exploring the places and start with Thollaiyiram Kandi & Cholamala Waterfalls.
  • Start trekking to the sunset viewpoint.
  • Get back and get your dinner and gear up for the night trek.
  • The night trek is to Ambukuthi hills whose distance is of about 15 km.
  • The night trek under the stars is at the Ambukuthi hills.
  • Enjoy a campfire and overnight stay in tents.

Day 02:

  • Start your day early, get up, and have your breakfast, post this go-ahead to view the sunrise.
  • It is the time to pack your tents and hike back to homestay.
  • Go ahead to visit the Banasura dam.
  • The next trek is a small one of about 3 km to Soochipara falls.
  • Depart to the Bangalore city.

How to reach Wayanad:

By Air: The Karipur international airport Kozhikode is the only airport near Wayanad. It is located at a distance of 100 km from the city. You can easily book a cab from the airport to Wayanad.

By Train: The Kozhikode Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Wayanad, which is about 110 km from the city. You can easily book a cab from the railway station to Wayanad.

By Bus: Wayanad is connected well with roads you can easily take a bus to reach Wayanad from all the major cities.

  • Forest permits are essential for trekking in the forest and the permits are included in the package itself.

Exclusions:

  • Any kind of insurance is not included in this package.
  • Personal expenses of any kind are not included in this package.
  • Anything that isn’t included in the inclusion is obviously excluded.

Cancellation Policy

  • 50 % refund if notified via phone, Mail 5 days prior to the Date of Travel.
  • No refund if the cancellation is requested is less than 5 days of day of travel.
  • No show, no refund.
  • Booking cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
  • For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, in case of such cancellation your amount will be refunded back.

Refund Policy

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in traveller's togedr wallet.

COVID 19 additional measures

  • Members travelling should practice social distancing.
  • If the trek/trip gets cancelled due to any pandemic or government’s order, there would be no refund instead the plan will get postponed.
  • Everyone travelling should have the ‘Arogya Setu App’ installed on their phones.
