Kanatal is a small village located near Dhanaulti. The distance from Dhanaulti to Kanatal is about 12 kilometers. Kanatal is a great place for camping. The Kanatal camp offers spectacular views of the Himalayas and is situated amidst forests and hills. Kanatal weather remains pleasant in summers while the region receives heavy snowfall in winters. Other than experiences such as sitting by the campfire and enjoying the beautiful views around, there are also a few treks and adventure activities in and around the campsite. Kanatal is a great hub for eco-tourism and will let you come closer with nature. The camping experience here will surely be one of the most memorable things you will come across.

Short Itinerary:

Day 01: Adventure activities in Kanatal.

Day 02: Kanatal – adventure activities in Tehri.

Detailed Itinerary:

 Day 1:

  • You will be reaching Kanatal early morning.
  • Check-in at the campsite, freshen-up and relax in the lap of nature.
  • Indulge in adventure activities at the Campsite like Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Flying Fox, Valley Crossing.
  • Trek to the Surkanda Devi and enjoy 360° view of Nanda Devi and the adjoining mountains.
  • Return to campsite for some tea/coffee and light snacks, enjoy the bonfire.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the Campsite.

Day 2:

  • Wake up early morning and enjoy the beautiful sunrise along with a panoramic view of the Himalayas.
  • After breakfast, check-out from the camps.
  • Drive towards Tehri Dam, halt for 1-2 hours and enjoy water sports like Banana Boat Ride, Jet-Skiing, Surfing, Motor Boat Ride(Self-paid).
  • By noon, head back to Dehradun.

By Air: Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport to Kanatal and is about 83 km away. You can book a cab from the airport to Kanatal.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Rishikesh and Dehradun. You can book a cab from railway station to Kanatal.

By Road: Kanatal is well connected with road. You can get buses from Rishikesh to Kanatal.

  • 50 % refund if notified via phone, Mail 5 days prior to the Date of Travel.
  • No refund if the cancellation is requested is less than 5 days of day of travel.
  • No show, no refund.
  • Booking cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
  • For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, in case of such cancellation your amount will be refunded back.

Refund Policy

  • The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days
  • All applicable refunds will be done in traveller's togedr wallet.

COVID 19 additional measures

  • If the trek/trip gets cancelled due to any pandemic or government’s order, there would be no refund instead the plan will get postponed.
