Chikmagalur is one of the hill stations in Karnataka. It is a popular weekend getaway destination from Bangalore, Mysore, and other nearby places. It is a great place to relax and also satisfy your adventure lust. Chikmagalur has some hidden trails to make the basic trek a lot more exciting. Mullayanagri peak is one of the spots for trekking which is highly preferred these days and it is quite famous amongst the trekkers. A trek to the Mullayanagri hills is all about rustic but the lovely pathways.

From the base point, it takes about 1 hour and a half to reach the topmost peak and the view from the top is exhilarating. Short Itinerary:

Day 01: Dandeli – Syntheri Rocks – Rafting

Day 02: Yellapur – Sathodi waterfall.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01:

We will reach Dandeli in the morning at about 6 am. We will then check into our campsite.

After breakfast, we freshen up and start our hike to the Syntheri Rocks. The trek to Syntheri rocks is picturesque passing by the banks of the river Kalindi and waterfalls.
Next, you will be heading for the most popular adventure activity here which is the white river rafting on the Kali river.
The rafting stretch is around 12 kilometers in length and has various types of rapids of various categories that can suit the abilities of experienced rafters and the beginners.
Gliding through rocky terrains and whirlpools of the Kali river, this rafting experience takes around 4 hours in total to get completed.
Mountain biking races, river crossing, and kayaking in Dandeli are some of the other activities that can be done here.
You can even go for a normal boat ride across the river. While returning to the campsite, witness the sunset at the backwaters.
Dinner will be served at the campsite. A bonfire will be arranged by the campsite as well. You will be staying in tents for the night.

Day 02:

You will wake up early and start your day with some good breakfast.
You will then head to Yellapur from where you would be heading to Sathodi Waterfall.
Sathodi Waterfall is around 25 kilometers away from Yellapur and is around 15 meters long.
The waters from this waterfall then form a stream and flow into a nearby dam which is connected with the Kali river.
You will have your lunch here and then board your bus in the evening for Bangalore.

By Air: The nearest airport is in Hubli, which is 80km from Dandeli. You can easily book a cab from the airport to Dandeli.

By Train: The nearest railway station from Dandeli is Hubli, which is 80km from Dandeli. You can easily book a cab from the railway station to Dandeli.

By Road: Dandeli is well connected with roads so you can easily get buses for Dandeli from all the major cities of south India.

The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, in case of such cancellation your amount will be refunded back.
