Short Itinerary:

Day 00: Depart from Delhi around 10:00 pm from Majnu Ka Tila.

Day 01: Rishikesh – Auli

Day 02: Auli – Joshimath – Auli

Day 03: Joshimath – Rishikesh

Day 04: Reach Delhi early morning.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 00:

Depart from Delhi around 10:00 pm from Majnu ka Tila.

Day 01: 

• Your journey starts from Rishikesh to Auli (254 km) 
• On the way, you would be stopping at Devprayag for witnessing the confluence of the rivers Bhagirathi and Alakananda.
• You will next stop at Srinagar for a good breakfast.
• You would reach Auli in the evening and then check into your cottage.
• You can freshen up and relax after the long journey.
• You can enjoy your evening sitting near a bonfire followed by dinner.
• Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02:

• Wake up early morning freshen up and enjoy the beautiful morning of Auli.
• After some breakfast, you will start your journey towards upper Auli.
• Auli provides stunning panoramic ice-covered views of the landscapes of the entire region. Being one of the most prominent destinations for skiing in India, indulging in some skiing here is a must.
• The thrill and excitement of skiing in Auli is immense. You will next go for a trek to the Gorson Bugyal. The alpine meadows are called Bugyals here.
• The Gorson Bugyal which is a high-altitude meadow is located just 3 kilometers away from Auli and is surrounded by lush green coniferous and oak trees.
• The Nanda Devi peak is visible from this point and during winters this place is covered with snow.
• You will return to your cottage in the evening. Enjoy bonfire and dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03:

• Wake up early in the morning and have some sumptuous breakfast.
• After some breakfast, you will start your journey towards Joshimath. joshimath can be reached by both road or ropeway. The distance that needs to covered is around 8 kilometers.
• You can buy some gifts and souvenirs for your friends and family members back home from this place.
• You will start our journey back to Rishikesh.

Day 04:

Reach Delhi early morning.

 How to Reach:

By Air: The nearest airport to Joshimath is Jolly Grant Airport which is about 275 km away. You can book a cab from the airport to Joshimath.

By Train: Rishikesh and Dehradun are the closest railway station to Joshimath which is about 250 km away. You can easily book a cab from the railway station to Joshimath.

By Road: Joshimath is well connected with road it is about 290 km from Dehradun. You can easily get buses for Joshimath from Dehradun and Rishikesh.
