Day 01: Trek to Kotagiri.

Day 02: Explore Catherine falls and Nilgiri viewpoint.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01:

The trekking team will be reaching the campsite at around 8 am in the morning. After chilling for some time and having breakfast, you would be starting with the Kotagiri trek. The trail of the trek is quite fascinating with lush green forests all around and streams. You will be heading to the cave house and then to the tea estates.
Indulge in the aroma of the full-grown tea plantation and also enjoy the sunset view from the Nilgiri valley.
In the evening, head back to your campsite to have dinner and to rest. The night view of the campsite is amazing with stars above you in that pleasant weather.

Day 02:

The next day of the trek will be spent embracing nature and exploring some points. The trekking team will be visiting Catherine falls and the Nilgiri viewpoint.
After enjoying some time there, the trek commences with the trip back to Bangalore. From Bangalore, the trekkers would have to make their own ways to their preferred places.

How to reach Kotagiri:

By Air: Coimbatore serves as the nearest airport to Kotagiri. Hiring a taxi from the airport is the best option to commute from the airport to the hill station.

By Train: The nearest railhead to Kotagiri is Coonoor, about 21 km from the hill town. You can easily book a cab from the railway station.

By Road: Kotagiri is a popular hill station which is well connected to many major neighboring cities via a well-maintained network of roads. You can easily get buses to Kotagiri.
