The best time to visit Savandurga is the summer season. During the summers, the weather is pleasant and totally suitable for outdoor activities. The winters are also good but not very ideal and suitable for everyone as the temperature gets considerably low. During the monsoons, the trekking here becomes extremely difficult.
The major things that every trekker must carry with themselves when they are on the Savandurga trekking are good trekking shoes, torch, light cotton full sleeves T-shirts, 2 litres water bottle, towel, medicines, and sunscreen, moisturiser. Carry snacks or light food items if necessary. We would recommend you to carry only the very necessary things because that would make your bags lighter.
The difficulty level of the Savandurga trek is moderate with steep inclinations.
Vegetarian food will be provided in this trek.
Since this is a moderate trek and is not for the beginners, prior trek experience or regular fitness routine is recommended.
