Located at 5,587 meters above the sea level, Mardi Himal Trek is present at Annapurna Base Camp.
The difficulty grade of the trek is easy to moderate. This means that even if you are an unprofessional trekker, you can successfully cover the Mardi Himal Trek.

It will take around 10 days to cover the Mardi Himal trek. During this trail, you will discover one of the most captivating backdrop of the unspoiled beauty of nature.
The best time to visit the trek is the month of March and May and then September to October.
To get the experience of rich rhododendron, loft peaks and natural greenery, a visit to Mardi Himal Trek is a must.

To start the trek to Mardi Himal, trekkers will have to reach Khanmadu. From there, you will catch a bus to Pokhara. Then you will travel to Phedi. Phedi will mark the start of the trek.
The nearest railway station to Mardi Himal Trek is Raxaul railway station and if you are planning to come by air then Kathmandu airport is the nearest airport.
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu
On the first day of your adrenaline pumping trek tour, you will reach Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.
Our representative will meet you at the airport and then they will transfer you to a hotel. On the same day, we will arrange a session to inform you about the trek details where you can clear all the queries and doubts.
In the evening you will enjoy the cultural show and the taste of local cuisine. The night would be spent in the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu sightseeing
Visiting Kathmandu is a lifetime experience and hence you should not miss a chance to know about the city as much as possible.
On the 2nd day, we will make arrangement for the local sightseeing. We will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath which is also called monkey temple.
If we have some more time in the account of the day then we will surely visit Patan Durbar Square as well.
In the evening we will return to the hotel to prepare for the trek that we will start from the next day.
Day 3 Kathmandu to Pokhara
We will start our journey to our trekking destination on day 3.
In the early morning, we will take a bus from Thamel (Kantipath). It will take around t hours to reach Pokhara. On the way, we will cross the famous Pritivi Highway.
We will also get to see the dazzling Trishuli river and various local settlements, flat terrains, small and big peaks.
After reaching Pokhara you can spend leisure time with your family and enjoy the alluring scenery of nature.
Day 4 Pokhara-Pothana
On day 4, we will head towards Pothana. In the early morning after a wholesome breakfast, we will take a bus to Phedi and will reach there in 40 minutes.
Then we will climb through a dense forest to reach Dhampus. From Dhampus we will pass through Deurali and reach Australian Camp.
Then we will walk through the steep slope to reach Pothana which is situated on Annapurna Circuit Trail.
You can spend the remaining time of the day exploring unspoiled beauty of Pothana.
Day 5 Pothana- Forest Camp
On the 5th, day we will begin our trek to the forest camp.
We will walk in the direction of Deurali, reaching Annapurna Circuit trek and ultimately the Forest Camp. It will take approximately 7 hours to reach the forest camp.
On the way, we will get to experience the rich beauty of lofty Annapurna ranges and Deraki. We will spend the night in tented camp in the lap of the captivating forest.
Day 6 Forest Camp - High Camp
Next day we will continue to walk over the steep trail to reach High Camp. As we will move upwards, the forest cover will start decreasing.
On our way to high camp, we will get to experience walking through the trek having Juniper trees and Rhododendron on both the sides.
The view charming view will definitely blow your mind. We will reach low camp and then we will continue our journey and would pass through Nangge Danda and would ultimately reach High Camp.
Here we will get glimpses of Annapurna Base camp valley, Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal and Annapurna range. We will spend the night at high camp.
Day 7 High Camp- Trek Base Camp- High Camp
On day 7, we will climb over the steep slopes to reach Trek Base Camp which is located at a high altitude of 4250 m.
It will take around 3 hours to cover the distance. We would leave early as the trail become foody after the midway.
The trail here becomes somewhat challenging and hence proper precautions must be taken. After enjoying the tranquil environment at trek base camp we will return to high camp.
Day 8 High Camp- Siding Village
On this day we will walk downhill towards the Siddhing valley. We will have to travel downhill to reach low camp.
From there we will walk towards the path that will take us to Siddhing. We will have to walk for around 7 hours to reach here.
The trail is slippery as we have to walk downhill. On our way, we'll see forest rich with flora and fauna, beautiful scenery of waterfall and river streams, cow sheds and many other alluring representations of nature.
Day 9 Siding Village- Pokhara
On day 9 we will travel downhill from Sidhing village towards Pakhra.
We will keep walking for 2.5 hours until we reach Lumre. From there we will catch a bus to Pokhara.
We will drive for another 1 hour and will come across prepossessing waterfalls, vegetations and beautiful valleys. We will check-in at our hotel and night will be spent there.
Day 10 Sightseeing in Pokhara
We will spend our 10th day feasting our eyes with some enchanting views of the Pokhara city.
We will visit Seti River Gorge, various caves and Devi’s fall. If we have some more time then we can also visit Peace Pagoda and try boating in the lake.
The night would be spent at the hotel in Pokhara.
Day 11 Pokhara- Kathmandu
Finally, we will fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara or we can also catch a bus to reach there, depending on the customisable trip package you choose.
After reaching Kathmandu, you can shop at local markets to collect some memories. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 12 Departure
12th day will be your last day in Kathmandu and you will head towards your respective home destinations.
However, we will be ready to serve you at our best if you planning to extend the trip.

The difficulty level of Mardi Himal Trek is moderate. This means that trail is not much challenging and an average trekker can also go on this trek.
But we will still advise you to take doctor's recommendation and medication before planning for the trek.
You should also take advice from General Practitioner or travel clinic about guide walks.
Regular exercise is also recommended one month prior to your trek in Nepal so that you build enough stamina face challenges that will come during the trek.
The average summer temperature of Mardi Himal Trek is moderate.
In winters the temperature can drop up to zero. So, we recommend you to plan your trip in the summer season.
We will book a tourist standard hotel for you in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The rooms are generally twin sharing and you will have to share the room with your family member.
We can also make arrangement for three seater room.
Extra charges will apply if you want a single seater. However, this customizable option will also depend upon the season you are visiting and the number of rooms available in the hotel.
Breakfast will be provided in the hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

There are many ATM points in Kathmandu and Pokhara city which can be used before starting the trek.
Talking about the connectivity, there are both telephone and landline services available in Nepal. You can buy your local SIM card. Network coverage is pretty good except in some parts. Long distance calls can be quite expensive.
TIMS Permit is required for trekking to Mardi Himal. We will arrange the permit for you (included in the package price).
You will also need Nepal visa arrival. You can apply for the same at your nearest Nepal Embassy or you can also obtain it at Kathmandu airport.
