Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Cho la Pass is a cleverly planned 18 days Everest base camp, Cho La Pass and Gokyo Lake adventure camp.

Day 1: Arrival Day
One of the company representatives will help you check into the hotel. You are allowed some leisure time and get some rest. In the evening, a meeting will be held at our office.
In the meeting, you will be introduced to your tour guide and fellow travelers and briefed regarding the trip. After the meeting, around the afternoon, you will be escorted to one of the typical Nepali restaurants in Kathmandu where the welcome dinner will be hosted.
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing tour and Trekking Preparation
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go on a privately guided sightseeing tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and the Kathmandu Durbar Square), in Kathmandu.
The exploration of these sites will assist you to understand the art, architecture, religion, culture, and history of the Kathmandu Valley. After the tour, during the noon, finalization of your trekking gears and clothes that you will need to do the Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass in Nepal will take place.
After the meeting, your evening will be spent as a leisure time.
Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
In the morning, you will be driven from your hotel to the domestic terminal of the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to board a plane and fly to Lukla.
After enjoying the breakfast in Lukla, your ultimate Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Chola Pass begins with a short climb to the Pasang Lhamo Memorial Gate, via the alleyways of Lukla.
Further trek to Phakding will be undertaken. After reaching Phakding, you will check into the lodge and spend the remaining time at leisure, exploring the settlement and monasteries near Phakding, writing journals, or sleeping etc.
The trek is of 2,610m and will take around 4 hours to complete.
Day 4: Trek to Namche
After enjoying full breakfast in Phakding we will get ready to continue to Namche. You will enjoy the spectacular view of the forest and continue on steeply ascending switchbacks, through a forest of pines to Mislung.
The walk from Mislung to Namche is on a level path. After reaching Namche, you will check into the lodge and spend the evening at leisure, taking a stroll around the Namche Bazaar and enjoy bakeries and internet cafes.
The trek is around 3440m and takes around 6-7 hours.
Day 5: Acclimatization in Namche
Trekkers ought to be prepared for altitude sickness which mostly takes place above the altitude of 2500m. Hence, Namche is the best and the first place to undertake the Acclimatization trek.
After the breakfast, you will be taken on an acclimatization trek in Namche, covering Shyangboche, Khunde, and Khumjung. Once you reach Khumjung, you will trek back to Namche.
The evening will be free and can be utilized well by exploring various destinations in Namche.
Day 6: Trek to Tengboche
Having a healthy breakfast in Namche, you will be undertaking the trek to Tengboche. There are two paths to start: a level path via Chhorkung or, the steeper and challenging but insanely beautiful scenic trail via Khumjung.
Once you reach Tengboche, you will check into the lodge, have lunch and go for an expedition of the Tengboche Monastery and the Eco Center. You will get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay, after exploring these attractions in Tengboche.
The trek is about 3,860m and takes 4-5 hours.
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche
After breakfast, you can join the monks for the morning prayers in the Tengboche monastery. After having a fill, you will begin your 4410m trek to Dingboche.
Dingboche welcomes you with the luxurious view of the Island Peak, Peak 38 and Lhotse. After checking into the lodge, you get the rest of the evening to rest and spend time at leisure.
Day 8: Acclimatization in Dingboche
After breakfast, you will be taken on an acclimatization trek. After the trek, you will get back at your lodge and rest overnight.
Day 9: Trek to Lobuche
After breakfast in Dingboche, you will head to Lobuche. In the way, you will come across beautiful streams and lush green habitats.
Once in Lobuche, you will check into the lodge and spend the remaining time either resting or hiking up the ridges east of Lobuche to witness the firsthand beauty of the Khumbu Glacier with Nuptse and Lhotse.
The trek is about 4910m and takes about 4 hours.
Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep-Everest base camp-back to Gorak Shep
Having breakfast in Lobuche, you will continue to travel towards Gorak Shep. Once you reach Gorak Shep, you will lodge in, leave your luggage and proceed towards the Everest Base Camp.
There, you are free to capture the incredible moments and keep them in your hearts and photo albums forever.
Then, you retrace your steps to reach Gorak Shep and spend the night there.
The trek is about 5364m and takes up about 8.5 hours.
Day 11: Hike to Kala Patthar & trek to Dzongla
Kala Patthar is one of the most visited and beautiful points in the Everest range. The glorious sunrise can only be witnessed from the Kala Patthar.
Hence, to be a witness to this once-in-a-lifetime beauty, you will start this day 2 hours prior to dawn and commence your trek to Kala Patthar.
After spending some time there, you take the trail back to Gorak Shep and then, back to Lobuche. From here, you will continue your trek to the village of Dzongla. You will spend the night here.
The total hike and trek is about 1.2km and takes about 7-8 hours.
Day 12: Trek to Thaknak via Cho La Pass
Today, the trek begins at the crack of the dawn. You will be subjected to early breakfast and will carry packed lunches. You will cross the Cho La Pass on your way to Thaknak.
Enjoying the mesmerizing view of the Cho La Pass, you continue your journey. Once in Thaknak, you check in and spend the rest of the time at your leisure.
The trek is about 5,480m and takes 7-8 hours.
Day 13: Trek to Gokyo and climb to Gokyo RI
Leaving Thaknak after having breakfast, you continue your trail to Gokyo. On the way, you will see many beauties of nature like the streams and lakes.
Once you reach Gokyo, you have your lunch and proceed to trek to the Gokyo RI (5360m). At the peak, the glorious view of the Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cholatse and Taboche and Ngozumpa Glacier, Gokyo and the very beautiful jade-green Gokyo Tsho welcomes you.
Once you are done clicking pictures and admiring the scenery, you begin your trek back to Gokyo where you spend the rest of your time at leisure.
Day 14: Trek to Dole
Enjoying a hearty breakfast in Gokyo, you set to trek to Dole. Admiring the various lakes and streams on the journey, you are bound to enjoy it completely.
Once you reach Dole, located at the end of Phule River, you spend your entire day there.
It is a trek of about 4,200m and takes about 4-5 hours.
Day 15: Trek to Namche
After breakfast in Dole, you pass through several streams, forest and waterfalls to reach Namche.
Once you reach there, you spend the night resting or at your leisure.
The trek is about 3440m and takes about 4-5 hours.
Day 16: Trek to Lukla
After having your breakfast at Namche, you will retrace your steps to Lukla. A gradual ascent past numerous Sherpa villages, you make your way towards Lukla.
Once you reach Lukla, you cherish your success and celebrate it with your teammates.
The trek is about 2840m long and will take up about 4 hours.
Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu
After breakfast in Lukla, you board a plane to Kathmandu. Once you reach the hotel, you will be given a spa treatment and one-hour full body massage to relax your muscles after the trek.
At night, you have a Farewell dinner where you will discuss your trip and give feedbacks.
Day 18: Departure Day
Bidding adieu to your mates, you will be taken to Tribhuvan International Airport, as per your flight schedule where you can take your international flight home.

Breakfast and dinner, during the trek, will be served at any good restaurant near your guest house. The lunch will be served to you along the way in a reputed restaurant in the area.
Soft drinks are not a part of the package but can be bought at extra cost. Also, there is nil compromise with the quality of the food served.
The last ATM or connectivity point is the Namche Bazaar. As you travel high in altitude, the mobile connectivity subsides and also, there are no ATMs. So, the best place to withdraw emergency money is the Namche Bazaar.
Also, most of the teahouses are run by solar energy. So, it is best to charge your mobiles and other electronic devices at a lower altitude. In some cases, the teahouses may allow you to charge your devices but only with extra cost.
Prior to undertaking Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lake and Cho La Pass, the trekkers would need to issue a permit of the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF). This will keep the expedition smooth.

You can go on long walks and regular jogs and include various cardiovascular activities that can help you control your breathing and heart rate. Also try to do skipping and squating exercises to strengthen your back and thigh muscles. Try to walk on inclined planes to prepare yourself for the trek.
We would suggest you to get a rucksack with a large capacity as this is a really long trek and you should be able to fit in your clothes and accessories along with any gear or equipment that you wish to carry along with yourself. Look for backpacks with wide straos and hip belts to divide the weight of the bag properly and to maximize comfort.
Yes porters will be available to carry your luggage. However make sure that the luggage doesn’t exceed more than 10 kgs.
We would suggest you to get trekking boots as they are slip resistant and very durable for long treks like this. They also support your feet and ankles and protect them from the cold.
