The total trek is of 6 days and 5 nights. You can easily book the dates of the trek through our online website. There are various types of packages available for this trek. Discounts are also offered if you come in a huge group.

You need to inform prior if you are cancelling the trek. If informed 30 days prior then the whole money is refundable, if informed 15 days prior then 50 % of the money is refundable and if cancelled less than 15 days then no money is refundable.

The trek includes all the basic things which are mentioned below. We will be covering some mountains, valleys, streams etc during our trek. It is a beautiful experience. People can also come with their family to spend the vacation.

Location and how to reach -

For the trek you need to first reach to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. From there our trekking team will take you. You can reach Rishikesh by the following 4 options :-

  • By Air – The Dehradun airport called as Jolly grant airport is the nearest airport to Rishikesh which is 35 km away.
  • By Bus- If you are travelling from Delhi or NCR then there is a bus depot in Rishikesh where buses from Dehradun, Delhi all come.
  • By Train- The nearest railway station is Haridwar which is 25 km away from Rishikesh. Trains from all over India come to Haridwar and then from Haridwar you can take a bus to reach Rishikesh.
  • By Road- Driving up to Rishikesh is fun as it has got various national highways which is pretty safe to travel.

 

Itinerary -

Day 01:- Rishikesh to Raithal

  • The first day starts with a vibrant attitude. Trekkers from all over the country are picked up from Rishikesh and they are taken to Raithal which is 223 kilometers.
  • The whole journey will be completed in about 7 hours. Comfortable Volvo busses or cabs will be arrange for the trekkers.
  • We will be going to Raithal via Uttarkashi. We will be encountering beautiful sceneries on our way. The famous Tehri dam lake also comes in our way.
  • Uttarkashi is a major town in Uttarakhand.we rest a day there. People can do sight seeing and roam around in the local market. The day ends here.

Day 02:- Raithal to Dayara

  • This day we will be covering a distance of 7-8 kilometers which will take around 5 hours of trekking. The trail is very smooth. The inclement is not that much. We have to do a gradual walk till me reach Dayara.
  • Reaching Dayara we will be noticing a lot of shepherd huts. If you trekking in winters then you will have to locate a place here only since as you go up there will be 2-3 feet of mountain covered with snow. But if you are trekking in spring, summer, monsoon then you can go higher and find a place near water side and draw your camps.
  • We will be covering the distance via Ghuyin. This place is famous for its rich spread of meadows making it a perfect spot for photography. You will enjoy the peace and calmness as you trek. At night you can also have fun , interact with fellow trekkers and make new friends.

Day 3:- Dayara Bugyal to Patanatuna

  • Wake up early and start the trek as soon as you have your breakfast. Most of the climb or rather walk will be on the alpine meadows where you can see the view of the Himalayan peaks.
  • We will be crossing Siyari Bugyal also on our way to Patanatune. A total trek of 7 kilometers will be done this day which will take approximately 4 hours. There is a place known as surya top, where you can draw your camps and enjoy the peaceful sunset. You can also get up really early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise.
  • The view is just breathtaking. You will never get such kind of views anywhere. The area is so mesmerizing that it cant be described in words. This day concludes in a happy note.

Day 04:- Patanatuna to Gidara Bugyal

  • This day we will be reaching the final destination of our trek that is Gidara Bugyal and also come back to Patanatuna the same day. The total distance we will be covering is 10 kilometers, and we will take around 6 hours to do that.
  • Gidara bugyal is one of the gems of the Garhwal Himalayas. This is situated at 3800 meters above the sea level. The ascent is not that steep, its just a gradual walk to Gidara Bugyal.
  • You can rest in Gidara Bugyal for few hours , enjoy the scenic beauty and start your descent. Trace the exact same path that you took for the climb. Thus this day concludes and our journey has almost ended.

Day 5:- Patanatuna to Barnala tal

  • This day we will be travelling to Barnala tal which is 9 kilometers from Patanatuna and takes around 5 hours of trekking. We didn’t take the trail from which we go to the Gidara Bugyal. We will be witnessing a rich flora and fauna. A lot of greenery will be seen on our way.
  • The descent is very gradual and easy. Beginners can easily come to this trek and enjoy a lot.

Day 6:- Barnala Tal to Barsu

  • This is the final day of our whole trip. At first we will be trekking a distance of 3 kilometers and reach Barsu. From Barsu the trekkers will be send back to Rishikesh which is a 7 hour drive. They can board their buses or trains from Rishikesh and go back to their home.
  • The whole trek will be an amazing experience. You should definitely spend a quality time out of the rush of the city. This acts as a good break from your hectic life.

Difficulty level -

  • The trek is one of the easiest treks in the Himalayas. People from all age group can go for this trek.
  • For beginners this trek could be exhausting but for experienced personnel this trek will be an easier climb.
  • Beginners should practice exercise daily before coming to trek trek to build up their stamina.

Weather -

  • The weather is very pleasant. But the best time for this trek is spring.
  • The view of the newly grown leaves is just awesome. You can also trek during summer, as the weather is normal.
  • It is not preferred to trek in monsoon as the path becomes slippery.
  • During winters the path is covered with snow and so the mountain peak.

Accommodation -

  • All the stay is covered under the package that you have bought.
  • All the camping equipments like the sleeping bags, tents, etc. and if there is any hotel stay then that will also be provided by the organization.

Meal -

  • All the vegetarian meals are included in the package.
  • In case there is no place to cook then packed items are served to the trekkers. The food is fresh and tasty and healthy.

  • Wherever transportation is required every transport is included.

ATM points and connectivity -

There are ample number of ATMs in Rishikesh. So it is suggested to take sufficient money in Rishikesh only. As you go higher the altitude there are less to no ATM . so always carry good amount of money with you.

Permission/passes/permits -

All the forest permits and passes are taken care by the organization. You just need to provide with the documents that are needed for the permit. The Uttarakhand tourism is very supportive in providing passes to all.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • 50 % refund if notified via phone, Mail 5 days prior to the Date of Travel.
  • No refund if the cancellation is requested is less than 5 days of day of travel.
  • No show, no refund.
  • Booking cannot be transferred to another date against cancellation.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
  • For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, in case of such cancellation your amount will be refunded back.

Refund Policy
