Paragliding in Nainital

Nainital in Uttarakhand is one of the famous places for paragliding. It has got tremendous attraction from all over the world.

The paragliding depends on two things, one is the wind direction and the next is air pressure. The weather has to be windy to experience paragliding in Nainital. It could be a perfect weekend getaway. And really serve as a good escape from the hectic life.

Best time:-

Although paragliding is open for all season. But this sports should be avoided in monsoon. The perfect time to do paragliding is when the weather is quite windy that is from march to june and October to November.

Location and how to reach:-

There are various ways to reach Nainital. Some of them are listed below.

• By railways – The nearest railway station from Nainital is Kathgodam. It is 34 kilometers away. It has got direct trains from Delhi, Howrah and Lucknow. You can come here and then take a bus to Nainital.
• By air – Due to a hill station Nainital has got no direct airport. There is one airport called Pantnagar which is 65 kilometers apart. You can take bus or taxi to Nainital.
• By road – there are various busses from Delhi to Nainital. You can get a very comfortable and hassle free journey by road as the busses are direct. On you way you can also experience the scenic beauty of Uttrakhand.

Is it safe ? :-

• Paragliding in Nainital is pretty much safe. You will be scared at first to go up above but it is completely normal. Various safety precautions are taken to do paragliding.
• The travelers are tied with a harness and proper helmets and gears are given to them for safety. Every traveler is accompanied with a guide to ensure safety.

Following are few things that is required for the travelers to do before paragliding.

• Wear very light clothes. Avoid wearing nylon clothes as they are slippery.
• Follow all the instructions given by the guide.
• Don’t overeat.
• Your weight should range from 15- 120 kgs.
• Kids below 18 years are supposed to fly with their parents.
• Keep yourself mentally prepared before the flight and don’t panic.

Inclusions :-

• All the necessary gliding equipments and gears will be provided.
• You will be accompanied with a guide in your whole flight.
• The total time of paragliding will be 30 minutes per traveler.
• And busses or cabs will be provided from Nainital to the main point where we will be doing the sports.

Exclusion :-

• People are not allowed to video shoot during their flight.
• There is no lunch or snacks or dinner provided.
• Apart from inclusion nothing will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the our service partner will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity.
• For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard earned money.
