The Deo Tibba trek is a 12 day trek and the total trekking distance is of about 75 km. The maximum altitude of the trek is 4480 metres or 14090 feet. The best season for going on this trek is mostly in between the summers and the early winters. So, May to October are the ideal months for going on this trek.
The trail would be having lush meadows, lofty now capped mountains, remote villages, hanging glaciers, panoramic views, giant cliffs and amazing topography.
The trek is adventurous, long and really exciting as you will be exploring things that you probably haven’t.
The Deo Tibba trek is located in the Himachal Pradesh region in the Kullu valley. The starting point of the trek is at Manali. Manali is well connected with the road ways, so can one easily reach here by public or private transport.
By airways, you have to reach Bhunter which is the nearest airport.
For railways, one has to reach to Jogindernath railway station and that is the nearest railways station.
Day 1 Starting the trek with Reporting at Manali
The trekkers have to report at Manali which is the starting point of the trek. Briefing session about the trek would be done here. After this, sufficient time would be given for shopping at the local markets and sight-seeing.

Day 2 Proceed from Manali to Chhika
The total distance from Manali to Chhika is about 9 km approx and reaching here would take around 6 to 7 hours. You will trek along the Alian River to reach the Chhika region.

Day 3 Move ahead from Chhika to Seri
The next morning, after having breakfast the trek commences towards Seri which is 10 km approx. from Chhika and it would take about 6 to 7 hours.
Trek along the banks of the Jagathsukh Nallah and come across tree lined meadows while reaching Seri. Come across amazing wild flowers and Tainta waterfall on your way.
Day 4 Tainta will be the next destination from Seri
You will start walking from the flat meadows and go on the steep climb and you will get the slight views of the Deo Tibba.
The day will be spent mostly relaxing in the tents in the campsite.
Day 5 Tainta to Chhota Chandratal is the next trek route
The distance for this is around 5 to 6 km and the time taken would be around 5 hours. You will start from Tainta and climb upwards and reach a beautiful emerald blue glacial lake which is called as the Mini Chandra Tal.
You will find amazing wild flowers by the shores of the lake. After spending some time here, you will return back to Tainta to spend the overnight there.
Day 6 Return Back from Tainta to Chhika
While returning back, you will pass through Seri and keep descending downwards through the steep slopes.
The nights will be spent at the tents in the campsite.
Day 7 Finally follow the route of Chhika to Jagathsukh to Manali
This totally makes for a distance of 16 to 17 km approx and it would take around 8 to 9 hours to be precise. You will descend down the same path and cross the trails may be at different time hours so the views will be different.
The trek finally ends here and after reaching Manali, the trekkers have to make their own ways for departure.
The difficulty level of this trek is moderate to difficult. This makes it sure that this trek is not very suitable for the beginners. Instead the professionals could go on this trek and make the most of it.
You need to be at-least 10 years in age to go on this trek.
The weather of the Deo Tibba camp trek is mostly on the cooler side. The temperature is between 12-15 °C during the daytime and in between -6°C-5°C during the night time.
